Overview

Donya Gallery is committed to ensuring complete satisfaction of our art collectors. Therefore, you have seven (7) days to return the artwork(s).

Once you receive the artwork(s) you have seven (7) days to inform us of your intention to return the artwork. All return cases will be decided on their individual merit and any mitigating circumstances will also be considered in case you are unable to inform us of your intention to return an artwork in within seven days. Although, you must contact us with details of your circumstances as soon as you are able to. If we accept your return request, you have three (3) days to ship out the artwork.

Any returned items must be returned in their original condition and packaging. Please note that buyers are responsible for the shipping fees.

Please note that you must NOT ship the artwork before recieving confirmation form us. 

Note: The return guarantee is NOT applicable to any commissioned artwork.

How to Return an Original, Undamaged Artwork

  1. Within seven (7) days of your merchandise delivery date, please email support [at] donyagallery [dot] com to give us your order information and the reason for wanting to return the work.
  2. Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials used by the artist. If you have already disposed of the original packaging, you will be responsible for purchasing packaging materials to send the artwork back safely to us. Once a return has been authorised, we will send you a confirmation email which includes instructions on how to safely package artwork for shipment.
  3. Email support [at] donyagallery [dot] com to complete the return process.


Once the piece safely reaches us, Donya Gallery will process your return and the amount owed will be refunded to your original source of payment (minus shipping costs and international customs fees, if any) within 14 business days.

Note: Additional shipping fees may apply for international returns. 

Who Pays for Return Shipping Costs?

We consider all returns on a case-by-case basis to determine who is responsible for the shipping costs including any customs fees to deliver the artwork back to us. If the artwork was accurately described on our site (in terms of size, materials used, weight, etc.) and the collector is returning it because of buyer’s remorse, then the collector will be responsible for all return costs.

If we establish that:

  1. the artwork was misrepresented, either in the photograph or in the description; or 
  2. we failed to disclose important information about the work; or 
  3. if the artwork was damaged due to poor packaging,

the collector will not be responsible for shipping costs.


What to Do If the Artwork Arrives Damaged

  1. Within seven (7) days of the delivery date, please email support [at] donyagallery [dot] com to notify us of having received a damaged artwork and photos of the said damaged artwork; and
  2. Save original packaging; and
  3. A Donya Gallery support representative will contact you to discuss next steps.


Will My Artwork Arrive Ready to Hang?

This information is included in the artwork description. Please ensure to check the artwork description prior to your purchase or contact our support team support [at] donyagallery [dot] com for more information.

Note: Large and oversized paintings and photographs may be shipped rolled in which case this information will be confirmed in your order confirmation.


Shipping Timeline:

We aim to ship all orders within 10 working days. The delivery time will depend on its destination. In case there are any delays in shipment, you will be notified immediately.


Can I Cancel an Order?

Yes. Note that all buyers have the right to cancel their order any time before shipment.

Note: Donya Gallery is not responsible for any currency conversion differences that may result in a reversed payment.


Will the Artwork Include the Artist's Signature?

When a signature is not displayed on the image of an artwork online, it is most likely that the artist has signed the work on the back or beneath the piece.  

If you have a special request regarding a specific piece, please contact support [at] donyagallery [dot] com prior to your purchase to clarify this.

It is very important to note that including a signature on any original artwork is entirely at the discretion of the artist. Please note that you will always receive a Certificate of Authenticity with the artist's signature and an exact description of the piece.
